CARE ASSISTANT ACCORDING TO §43B AND 53C SGB XI - FURTHER EDUCATION BERLIN

The training aims to provide participants with not only professional but also social skills, including communication techniques, conflict resolution, and psychology. A completed vocational training is not required for this course; however, some institutions require an internship, while others assess suitability through tests. A high level of motivation for social and caregiving activities is expected.

Depending on the organization, the training lasts between ten weeks and twelve months and includes two short internships (one and two weeks, respectively). The course concludes with a written and practical examination. Upon passing, participants receive the title "Care Assistant for Full-time Institutions (§ 87)" along with a certificate. Courses are offered full-time, part-time, and as distance learning.
