MOBILE CARE AND SUPPORT ASSISTANT WITH CLASS B DRIVER'S LICENSE - FURTHER EDUCATION BERLIN

This further education program aims to provide participants with both technical and social skills, including communication techniques, conflict resolution, and psychology. A completed vocational training is not required for participation; however, some institutions may require an internship, while others assess suitability through an entrance test. A high level of motivation for social and caregiving tasks is expected.

Depending on the organization, the training lasts between ten weeks and twelve months and includes two short internships (one week and two weeks, respectively). The course concludes with a written and practical exam. Upon successful completion, participants receive the title “Caregiver for Fully Residential Facilities (§ 87)” along with a certificate. The courses are offered full-time, part-time, and through distance learning programs.
